Well, we suggest you take route to Thailand – It is the nearest to our country (Malaysia).
A little bit information on this neighboring country- Thailand:
Thailand is a country situated in South of Asia. This country borders Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar as shown in the world map before. 95% of its population is Thai and Buddist, the other percentage is Muslim and Christian. Thailand is a very popular tourism destination that much likely include all types of tourism sector; spa and recreation, business, leisure, nature, medical, and etc.
Lets us start the journey starting in Malaysia to several attractions in Thailand!
Malaysia - Hat Yai - Songkla.
From Malaysia, you can get several cheaper public transportations to Thailand such as:

Upon arrival, you can stay at the Taipei Hotel Hat Yai that situated at the central Hat Yai where there are several nearby attractions you can visit. The price per night is only at RM39, the hotel provides comfortable room and provide facility conveniences to its guest.
Some of the attractions that you can visit when arrived at Hat Yai - Songkla:
First suggestion - Klong Hair floating Market
The view of the Klong Hair Floating Market. Interesting, right?
From the bus terminal, you can take tuk tuk (Thai Taxi) to go to the Floating Market which might cost you only RM2.00. This Floating Market starts late in the afternoon and end until 8 pm. This market is very unique as the ways of the hawker sell their things such as food, beverage, tit-bits and etc, which is by boat. From here, you can eat just about everything that is selling there. For example, light food, heavy food, and some bizarre foods.
Looks yummy? This is the Thai version of French Fries… yum3~
Another place nearby to go to - Wat Hat Yai Nai.
The world’s third largest reclining Buddha – Stunning beautifully.
The statue (Phra Phuttha Hattha Mongkhon) is measured 35 meters long, 15 meters tall, and 10 meters wide. To go there, you can take took tuk tuk to this temple from the central Hat Yai with RM2.00 fare.
There are also other interesting places that you can visit in Hat Yai such as Kao Seng, Hat Yai Nai Sunday Market, Gim Yong Street Market and many more.
Next~ a quick journey to Songkla.
This journey will only take you about 60 minutes by minibus in the central Hat Yai for only RM2.50 . Where to visit?
Beautiful… Isn’t it? This is the Songkla’s famous Samila Mermaid Statue.
The place is located nearby the sea. This location is great for relaxation after being wandering all day with a tale story share with the visitors about the mermaid. If you are hungry, you can go to Nang Ngam Road for refreshment which there are many restaurants available.
Hat Yai - Bangkok
The next destination you should visit is Bangkok, the capital city of Thailand. It is known that Bangkok is the largest urban area of Thailand. From Hat Yat Train Terminal or Bus Terminal, you can directly go to Bangkok (Chong Nansi Station) with only RM49.00 to 69.00 that takes 10 to 12 hours journey.
Once you got there, you check in to LuB’ D hotel that situated nearby the Chong Nansi Station at Bang Rak. The hotel provides the best facility for backpackers with RM40 for 4 pax per room. For food, the surrounding area of the hotel has several restaurants that you can dine at and some hawkers’ stall for quick food on the go.
There are also floating market in Bangkok which is much bigger than the one in Hat Yat with variety of food, handicrafts and many others. There are Taling Chan Floating Market Bang Khu Wiang Floating Market, and Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. And you can even hop in a boat for a ride to the market.
Next, at night you can go to Khao San Road where there are variety food, clothes, accessory, souvenier and others sold, which it takes about 20 minutes away from Silom. You can take taxi with RM6.00 only to the destination. There are other attractions that you can go are Patpong Night Market, Snake farm, and others.
Chantaburi Night Market
Bangkok – Chanthaburi
From Bangkok Terminal, you can ride a bus to Chanthaburi which takes you 3 and a half hours to arrive with a fare about RM18.50. Some of the destinations that you can visit in the Chanthaburi are Si Chan Road, Khuk Khi Kai,Wat Khao Sukim and others.
You can as usual take tuk tuk to travel around the places, and have some food nearby the area that are popular with Kuaitiao Phat Pu, Kuaitiao Nua noodle, Nam Phrik Pu Khai, and others to try in Chanthaburi.
